Nope, some top fuel dragsters use nitrous instead of blowers. If you watch, the blower cars have the advatnage at higher altitudes and in colder weather. The nitrous cars have the advantage in warmer weather and/or humidty climate. They both use nitromethane for gas.

on the subject, any of you guys hurd of the new drag motor someones making, its a 5liter 4 banger that runs of nitromethane n2o and its turbo charged, there expecting 4k hp

it was supposed to be completed like a year ago, and the people they interviewed even sounded like moron's so I doubt it was completed. I also heard they were in dallas.
