Exclamation HELP!!!! How can I tell if I've overheated?

Yeah, I posted earlier about blowing my alt belt. I failed to mention, however, that my air pump belt also came loose. I don't think I had put too many miles on it, before I realized there was a problem, but how many does it take? Normally, my engine runs pretty cool, so I think I've got that working for me.

But I need to know what to lok for, and how deep I may be. The temp gauge was at about halfway, but I'm not totally sure.

Please, I need help.

If she still starts and runs just like she always has, quit worrying...

If she's hard to start, belches smoke, and eats coolant, start worrying...

Okay, because I part near messed myself when I saw the belts were off. I'd rather be a pest than no longer have a reason to be here in the forum.

40 miles so far, and no problems.
