how do you get the carpet out from the fc's
aka how do you lift the dash to pull out the carpet??????
and or an ezer way to do so

Download the Factory Service Manual in the FAQ. It shows you the location of all clips/screws/bolts on the dash. It's the 1st page after the table of contents in the 'BODY' section.

yeah its actually really simple, just read the FSM it will show you the points of interest you need to tackle to get the dash off.

You can either take the dash off, or slit the carpet so it will slide past the shifter area. My carpet is slit.
