Question Help Help Help!!

While titening a small bolt comming from the engine that attaches to a coolant pipe off the top of my turbo, I snaped the damn bolt overtitening it. I have no clue how to fix this and i really need some help. I just finished installing a s5 turbo on my car, and then this **** happens so now the collant is leaking like crazy. Please guys help me out. I have an 88 TII

I don't understand how coolant is leaking if you only broke the bolt?

If you are trying to extract the broken part of the bolt, you can get one of those left wound drill bits to pull it out. They carry them at hardware stores. Called Screw Extractors or Easy outs.

Then just find a new bolt to replace it with.

Yeah sorry its hard to explain it. Basically there is one collant line that attaches to the engine block, comming from the turbo that is. This line is the top metal coolant line in the middle and on top of the turbo. The part that connects to the engine has 2 small bolts and while titening one of these i snapped it off overtitening it. So now theres just the thread snapped off on the engine. Thanks for the suggestion ill try it out.

I used easy out to get an exaust mounting bolt off that i broke. Quick word of caution though, don't use to mch force, the small bit broke off inside the bolt neck. Heh, got my dremel out and ended upgrinding through it. Had a few other occasions where the easy out worked super awesome though. Drills in backwards for a little ways, than catches and drills out the bolt.

Hey i got it off luckily it was the screw type bolts so all i had to do was use vise grips and i simply turned it off. Thanks guys for the help anyways
