Question Help: Ford 1600CC Injectors Leak At Top O-Ring With KG Fuel Rails

i have a set of KG rails on my S4TII and i have the ford 1600cc injectors. when i installd the injector bushings and injectors i noticed that the injectors had alot of up and down play in them so when i pressure tested the system they didnt leak if they were pushed the whole way into the rail but if you pushed down on them they would leak at the top where the O-ring's are so i put i put it together anyway to give it a try and when i started the engine it was fine for like 20 min then it pushed the one side of the O-ring out and it started sprying fuel ...anyone else have this issue with the KG secondary rails?

I know quite a few people who use his rails and have never heard of this problem. Just call him up and ask him, he's a cool guy.

ok well thanks to dave at KDR performance i think i figured it out. the stock plastic deffusers dont fit with the bushing/spacers that come with the rail so i didnt put them in...he said that he usually takes the stock plastic defussers and grinds them down to make a spacer between the manifold injector hole and the spacers that KG provides with there rail and what this does is pushes the injectors up into the rail more...so now they are tight and should have no leaks...hope this helps someone else with the same problem
