Help finish project please
Ok last year, after a lucky insurance settlement, I set out on a mission to upgrade my 87 S4 T2 to the nice 3 inch RB one. However as I came to realize this task wasnt going to be as straight forward as I thought. There was the fuel cut defender, the fuel pump and the porting that needed to be done. Ok so I have the porting finished, I have the FCD in my hands, dont have a fuel pump yet but will get soon the walbro. Now what do I have left? Since the turbo is going to be pushing more psi I need to control it, right? so atleast a manual boost controller. Then there is the question of fuel, a piggy back? stand alone? This stuff is all french to me, I understand what the piggy back does and the stand alone (i think) with the reprogramming of the ecu to different fuel maps, so i guess I have to get one of those. I am a little discombobulated here with knowing what I need and dont need. Like the BOV, which is there to protect the turbo, but isnt there one on my car already? why would I need another? do I need a new BOV and a Pop off vavle? A new ECU? Reprogram? Fuel map? I dont want to get a spike and loose an engine or a turbo, i'd like to play it safe.
P.S. Currently though during the taking and retaking apart of my intake manifold, I've busted a couple of old injectors which i'm in the process of replacing now.

A boost controller can only raise boost. It can't limit it.
Go stand alone only if you have the money and plan to make even more bigger power later on. A piggyback will work if you're not going to go further in the HP department. I forget the limit is on the stock BOV but it should be enough with just a full exhaust upgrade.
Also, you should consider getting some gauges too so you can monitor everything.

while replacing the injectors, upgrade the secondary injectors to 720cc injectors. if you rewire the stock pump will probably do ok, even an aftermarket pump won't have full power to run it.
