Ok. Did you try cleaning the plugs and squirting a bit of oil, and doing the unflooding procedure I described?

That particular wire provides the coils with voltage. If the leading coil didn't have voltage on this wire then it would not be possible for that coil to fire and provide spark. It's an easy check and shouldn't take more than a minute to do.

i was helping him on aim, he hasnt done the deflood afaik, i think its just flooded. and the battery is almost dead.

realllly hard to instruct over the net when your trying to check fuses and what not when you got a rookie on the other end.

I seem to be having the same issue with my S5 GTU. Swapped in a low millage motor and now it wont start. Car actually ran before the swap, but needs new water seals. Had a shop do the swap but he couldnt figure it out either.
