hi sorry for the silly question, if it is silly but here goes. i recently bought a salvaged '90 na rx7 and i can't get it to start. when i turn the ignition it starts to smell like there is a gas leak. also the fuel gauge goes from F to E when i try to start it but i checked the tank before and after and it was full. someone told me that there is a fuel switch or something in the engine bay but i can't find anything that resembles that. could someone help. i have tried searching the forum but haven't come across anything that resembles this.

Welcome to floodedville as well as the forum. Pull the EGI fuse under the hood, crank for a while, replace fuse, start. Although if it's severe enough you might have to pull the plugs to clear the chambers.
