HELP! car will not boot

I have a 1990 rx-7 and it wont really boot when i floor the pedal. It begins stuttering when I really try to push it in first and second gear, but it's fine if I slowly push down on the pedal. One of the exhausts have fallen off the car and it needs a new y-pipe. Could this be the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys

Well back pressure is a possible source for your problem. I would also look and make sure that your O2 sensor is still their and working.

check your codes...... seems like it could also be a sensor problem

lmao, you saying your exhaust fell off indicates you have shitt old stock rusted exhaust.... get a new turbo back exhaust or even a cheap muffler off of ebay and have an exhaust shop weld it on for you with custom piping. Single exhaust style.
