Help.. Car start up idle for short second and die

Help.. Car start up idle for short second and die
As i was trying to go to work today. I started up my FC and it then it die, seem like it lost compression so i check the oil seem a bit low about a quart so i reach over and grab one from the hatch space, fill it up and start the car.. Now it start up at 3k rpm and die.. try again with holding down the gas pedal.. die any help?
