help car alarm!!!

does anyone know if 2 gen rx7s (89 gxl non-turbo) came with an alarm?? if so, where would it be located, and what would it look like?

isn't there a light beside the e-brake that says security?
I have no clue where it is... never really cared... but i think this is covered in the OWNERS MANUAL...

All US spec 89+ models had the factory security system and it is built into the CPU.

You can not disable the factory system without loosing some CPU functions.

What is the problem you are having? Instead of ripping stuff out, think about fixing the car right first.

how do u turn off the alarm? does it have a botton or what?

turning the key in the door to the unlock position, disarms the factory alarm
