Exclamation Help! Can't find fuel pump check connector!

OK, I'm installing a Megaquirt into my '87 T2 and need to re-wire the fuel pump. Apparently the easiest way is to run a jumper wire on the fuel pump check connector. I know its supposed to be a bright yellow 2 pin connector by the passenger side strut tower. But I can't find it anywhere on my harness. I've attached a couple pics of where I think it might be, but was wondering if anyone knows if there are any other plugs on the same branch of the harness its on? There are a few wires on part of my harness that are cut, can anyone confirm if these are for the fuel pump check conncetor?

Anyone? This is the last thing I need to do for my Megaquirt to work. If I can't find the fuel pump check connector, can I wire the fuel pump to come on when the key is in the on position? Or is that a bad idea?
