Help buying 10th anniv

im a new to the rx community, (coming from the maxima comm) but i been looking to get an rx7 for a while now. fds are just too ricey. i figure its time to go old school. anyway a guy near me in nj is selling a 10th anniv. 100k miles. apparently the paint is perfect except for sunroof. theres a few minor things wrong with the car that really dont worry me (door handle doesnt work, etc)

i have yet to look at it but does 4,500 sound like a reasonable price? seems a tad pricey but i figure id ask u guys. also is thare anything i should look for to make sure its a legit anninv ed.??
thanks in advance!

get the engine compression tested, and see the links in the FAQ about buying a turbo rx-7

welcome first off. you can look at the VIN to verify a proper 10AE. eaiser ways will be the bronze tinted glass and black interior with 10AE horn button, momo shift **** with integrated boot, and headlight washer nozzles. i wouldnt think it would be a fake 10AE though. too much trouble to do so, swapping the interior over would be quite a task, let a lone the glass. try this link as for what to look for: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/frequently-asked-questions-2nd-generation-rx-7-faq-fc-494667/
i am a 10AE owner and i really love the car. its kind of a neat step away from other 7's. if you've got any pics i'd love to see them. the chipping paint and broken door handles are common problems with the FC. the crystal white paint does like to flake in its old age. imo, the 10AE is really a wonderful car that should be well taken care of and not riced due to its low production number and rarity.

see my two threads for some decent 10AE reference material:
