help bleeding clutch

help bleeding clutch

im thinking about bleeding my clutch tomarrow...could some one tell me or give me a link of a how to? thanks.

Make sure you have a lot of fluid on you to do it. Also have a bleeder kit that has a tube with the collecting cup at the end.

Its kind of a 2 person job, but you can do it yourself. Follow the clutch line to the bottom of the tranny. It will take you to the slave cylinder; you should be able to see a small nipple right next to the hose. Hook up your bleeder kit to the nipple and take a small wrench (8mm I think) and turn it loose. Then take the cap off the clutch reservoir and start pumping the clutch pedal. Enjoy.

i already looked at the haynes maual on the FAQ sticky but wanted more info because it wasnt quite clear.

you should be able to do the clutch by yourself, when you unscrew the bleeder the assist spring will make the spedal stay on the floor and you can go tighten the screw.
