HELP...axle removal

HELP...axle removal

ok...so im tryin to remove the rear axle from the hubs.....axle nut off...there disconnected from diff...rotors and calipers off...i cant get the axle out of the hub...ive tried a hammer and a pulley puller....cant get it with either....is there a trick to this crap?

lube it up, put a 2x4 over the axel nut and get out the BFH

Last time I had to do this, I almost emptied a can of Liquid Wrench on the damn thing and let it sit over night. Then I used a 5lb sledge to "tap" it out. The can definitely be a b*tch to remove.

be a real man! do it the way i did! just get in there, grab onto it with your mouth, and rip it out!


no really though.. i used a chizzel and hammer came out pretty easy. maybe... 10 minutes per?

but see im from the south reatrdedspleen..i have no teeth....bahahaha...nah..i let it sit in pbllaster today and am gonna spray it on till the weekend and try the sledge again:P
