im doing a auto to manual conversion and i have used the guied thats writen up here on this site. but now im stumped. he says "Swap over your auto trans mounting bracket to the manual transmission "not the body". ok so i took off the auto mounting bracket and noticed that they mount to the transmisions in a very different way. i see why it needs to have a auto bracket but i dont see how you could just swap it over.

Pretty sure you need a the trans mount from a manual car.

 

the manual trans mount is longer and kindof curles down on the passenger side so it would make it realy hard to fabricate a bracket to line up with the stock mounts on the car. where the automatic mount is shorter and doesnot curl down and would line up perfictly since thats where it came form. but the ruber mounts are spaced farther apart on a manual then on the auto, therefor the automatic bracket wont mount to the manual trans. that i can see.

please help its the last thing i have to figure out before i can start reasimbling.
