Make sure the cable is plugged into the rear of the instrument cluster. If it is not... plug it in and it should work. or the cable is broken. Replace the cable.

follow the cable from the gauge cluster, if u follow it correctly it will go all the way underneath your car into the tranny, or drivetrain whatever you want to call it

sometimes its the cable, sometimes its the little gear thing that the wire is connected to, mine was the cable, so i went to the local junkyard and picked one up for 5$ :-D, if u need a new guage cluster, sometimes the speedo breaks too, i have an extra one if u want

uhh a little more info on that might be handy... get a haynes manual, or download the FSM (factory service manual) unless you want to provide a little more info about the problem...
does the heater come on at all and just not put out any heat? or does it not turn on at all.

ok the speedo. its itehr cable or gear in trany as they said. a dyno calibration shop can test it and make it the right ratio incase u changed tiers or rims. the cable goes from the insterment cluster therew the firewall to the tranny. "this has allready ben said so i just repeated it ayways"

ok heater. in the morning is your windows fogy? or fog residu on the lower part of the windshield. this is du to a bad heater core or one with a leek it should be up under the dash on the passenger side beside the blower. this is generaly hte reson it dosent work the other is your engin is cold and there is no heat lol. check your thermostat is it stuck?
