I was going down the road and all of a sudden i felt this vibration in my shifter and i turned the radio down and I could here this rateling noise and it was in every gear and it still drives but i only drove it about 1/2 mile after it started doing this and im not sure what it is. I need to get some help b/c i dont have any kinda manual or anything to help me so I need help ASAP!

 

something sounds loose to me...you need to be more specific though a rattling noise coming from your car...it could be anything engine, tranny etc etc... if your really that worried take it in and see what a mechanic says. they could prolly tell you what it is just by hearing it.

 

well i know it has to be somthing to do with the tranny but im no sure. I think it could be the throw out bareing or i know it has somthing to do with the drive line.

 

check to see if it is RPM related.
if it is (in neutral) its a clutch or engine problem.

if it is speed related (clutch in doesnt stop vibration) then its a wheel or the drive shaft.

 

well i jacked the car up and turned it on it still makes the nosie in all gears and nuetral and i rolled under the car and the noise is coming from the tranny right where the drain plug is for the gear oil, so I think i have a tranny that is going. THAT SUCKS!
