Help. 91 s5 non-turbo limp mode?

so 27 is MOP general
and 33 is solenoid port air valve
Is a mop easy to get ,and replace? or should i just use the stuff from my 91,, no codes on the 91 it runs perfect, frame was rotten Thanks but if it will be better getting a new one i will, should i replace the ECU as well, some say that it may of been fried because of the MOP??
and the million dollar question the solenoid port valve is which one in the bunch of them,,white ,brown?? i have no clue, but i am digging into it ,to find it ,but ?? Thanks

well got a on line service book and , the mop code may be the ecu not getting 12v, gona test it tomorrow, looks like the port air sol is near the air pumps on the right side of the motor?? have a good nite,take care

That's true, but most of the time the OMP can fail, taking the ecu along with it. Check out the connectors, though. If they look good, just swap the OMP, if it is still giving you problems the ecu might have been gone along with the OMP and needs to be changed too... Make sure the OMP is connected to begin with, its on the front of the engine with the clear lines coming off of it....
The code 33 should not put the car into limp mode, code 27 will. The solenoid is located on the solenoid rack on the drivers side. There are alot, i'm not sure where to even start, maybe someone else can chime in... could be clogged or not connected. You can test them by applying 12v and then per the FSM check each port allows/blocks air accordingly. Simplest way, blow through one of the vacuum lines, check to see where the air goes, apply 12v, see if the port changed and you hear click, if not its bad.

Thanks,,, well just to keep you up with the problem, and just a little info, a OMP from mazda is 1800.00 wow , so i may need to use the one off my donor car, gona test everything this weekend ,super busy at work. Thanks again for all your advise and help.

If after you replace your OMP, and the codes still show, replace your ECU. Borrow someone's and just swap it to see if it gets rid of the codes.
Most likely the ECU went with the OMP. Thats what happened to me, problem was solved not after i replaced the OMP but after I replaced the ECU.
