Question HELP! 89 GXL EFI solenoid resistor testing

Heres the deal after following the instructions on the haynes manual trying to test the solenoid resistor. I noticed that the plug is different than the one in the picture (picture shows 86-88) it still has the same amount of wires coming in and out. But im wondering if the test is the same for 89-91? acording to haynes it should have 5-7 ohms between the center wire and the top left wire. however im not getting any reading at all. And yes the gauge is working. Evreything else checks out okey as far as ignition and fuel pump preasure and operation. Injectors are firing as well. Computer is working 100% anyone has any insight in this great apreciation.

PS: In case u didnt get it the car will not start. compretion test is next even though the motor sounds liek is in the brink of starting.
