Turbo or NA? If it's a stock fuel setup on either car, you don't really need to be playing with the settings. Post more information.

The manual for it is free and online. Do you have it wired up and having problem getting it to display? Or?

Take the car to your local RX-7 tuner and he will fix it. This is not something that you should attempt yourself.

No, it will not add 15bhp to a stock NA 13B engine, but good tuning can help a lot with the power curve.

Until changes are made to the settings, the car should run and idle normal. Or as normal as it did before you installed it.

IF it idled fine before, then I'd suggest you have one of the settings off. LIke the *ARROW isn't up and to the right* or the setting isn't 05-05 (or whatever the manual says it shoud be. OR you have the wiring a bit wrong.

Hard to say from here.

There is a way to INITIALIZE the unit. That puts everything back to STOCK. Do that and see if it idles better or NOT.

If the engine will start, can you read the rpms on the SAFC? Then, can you go to the right setting and read the throttle and AF1 readings? If so, what are they. That might be a CLUE. Even with the engine off, key On, you should be able to read AF1 and Throttle.
