About a month ago my computer and my wire harness burned up in my 87 non turbo. i bought a turbo 2 computer and wire harness, turbo with manifold, blow off valve, and the intercooler. it cost me a little over 700.00. all i need to know is will it work if i put it all in. or is there something i am missing

there's alot you'll need.
it honestly is a big hassle to make an NA to Turbo.
you have to pretty much be creative in routing all the water lines and oil lines.
the lim has to either be modified and a spacer placed between the manifold and the engine due to the fact that the turbine hotside will hit the lim.
i did a little of both. the wastegate actuator will not work a the stock location so you will have to either relocate it or replace it with an electronic one.
here's a list of what i've used so far.

oil sandwhich plate to plumb oil feed to turbo.
oil feed line
550cc injectors
either hack up the lim to get things to fit, or replace them with the TII counter-parts
place a spacer (i used RB plates and made a custom spacer)
the turboII pressure sensor.
probabaly a downpipe that'll connect it to you exhaust.
and a boost gauge probably to monitor it.
everything else is purely optional and debateable.
i've posted a help thread earlier, you can check out my pics there if you'd like.

If you're trying to turbo your NA motor, there's a whole lot more involved. Check out Aaron Cake's website for info.

Here's a partial list of what else is needed:

1. Custom UIM (The TII UIM will not bolt onto the NA LIM)
2. Custom exhaust manifold
3. TII injectors
4. TII or better fuel pump
5. Boost sensor
etc...

If you don't have the mechanical/fabrication background to do this kind of major modification, don't. Get a new NA ECU & harness (they're cheap since most people want the TII stuff), or read up on swaping in a complete TII motor/tranny/diff.

ok but i had another question. will the computer and the wire harnesses work with out the turbo if i just got that in. the computer only tells the engine to dump more fuel in if their is more boost than normal so it should run like it was a non turbo right
