Hey guys... I am new to the thread, but I joined because I need some help. I am very very interested in getting either a 1987 or 1988 Rx7. And because of this, I am writing a paper for me english class on it. I go to school at NIU. Could anybody help me with idea of what to talk about, or give me some good information or websites where I can get some good info? I want to talk about the 2nd gen mainly, because that is the one I want to buy. I'll also talk about the rotary engine and some background info on the car. I am also very into drifting, so maybe talk about some of the drifting aspects with the car. So if anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Let me know! Thanx. Chrisy.

he's right, go to the Arcives for 2nd gens also recently there have been a few posts about Rotary Engine's vs. Piston Engine's in the Rx7 Audio Visual section and there's something about the rotary engine on the history channel in the Audio Visual section too

 

Go here http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com/ and look at everything , gives you a basic idea and theory about everything about a rotary engine and gives animations as well to help you understand.

Another good place to go is http://www.rotorwiki.com/index.php/Main_Page , that has good info too.

Also the faq /specifications, and archive (stickied on top of all threads) is a good place to go as they said.

Anything you cant find that you have questions about just goto the search option on here and type in some keywords about what youre looking to find out about and youll probably get a decent number of results containing the information youre seeking.
