your master brake cylinder has died. replace it, or maybe you need to bench bleed your current one

My first idea is DONT DRIVE A CAR WITHOUT BRAKES!!!! You could kill someone and maybe even yourself... Second is get a manual like the previous gentleman said... You are going to need a few tools...
1. 10mm wrench (I think it is 10mm... I am going off of memory)...
2. About a foot or two of clear hose (To direct fluid [clear to see bubbles])
3. A jar or container (To catch fluid)
4. Another person
5. More Break Fluid

Now you will need to:
1. Put the other person in the driver seat
2. Locate the bleed valve on the driver front caliper... This will look like a nut with a tit on top with a hole in the middle... It is sometimes called a nipple...
3. Put the wrench on it, then the tube over the tit (Make sure it is a firm fitted hose)...
4. Have the person in the driver seat pump the breaks till he feels a change in pressure... Have him press the brake to the floor...
5. Loosen the valve and allow all of the pressure release... Make sure your friend keeps pressure on the pedal at all times...
6. Tighten the valve and repeat 4 & 5 till you see no bubbles in the tube anymore... Make sure to not let the brake fluid reservoir go lower that the min level... You will have to start over if you do... NEVER, NEVER allow your friend to release the brake pedal while your valve is loose... You will have to start over if you do...
7. Move to the next break caliper and repeat all of the steps till you have done all four calipers or wheels... After this do the same thing with your master cylinder...
8. Do not reuse the fluid in the jar... That is just to help you keep from making a huge mess...

Uh Oh... j/k... Okay... It is on the other side of the break pedal on the fire wall... It is where you put the breakfluid in... The little tank that holds the fluid has a pump on the bottom... That is the master cylinder... I would definately see about bleeding it first... If that does not fix it, see what a rebuild kit costs for it or if one is available... If so it may save you alot of money... Do keep in mind I am not liable for any mistakes made by a novice mechanic in the making... Again... Get the manual... It has some great stuff in there...
