I got nabbed for speeding today. Okay its not as bad as it sounds, I was doing 45 in a 35, but the cop claims I was doing 54. He didnt get me on radar thats just "how fast I had to go to catch up with you". So i was just wondering if anyone knows the law on this. I think this is total BS ut I would to hear what you guys have to say.

 

he really cant do **** cause he didnt catch u on the radar gun. u should have asked him to see the gun if not he cant do anything.

 

I dunno what your laws are but over here if they don't radar or laser you they have to follow you at your speed for a minimum time (10sec I think) to establish your actual speed. His "catch-up speed" idea sounds like BS to me.

 

of course he had to go 54 tp catch up...if he did the speed you were doing he would have never caught you...it is total bs....
