Help

OK. i have a major probelm ... basically one day i was driving home and all this smoke was coming from my engine so as soon as i get home i pop the hood and i see thats thiers hardl any coolant so i fill her up and im like ok hoepfull shes good .... and the next day i changed my thermostate and did a full coolant flush... start her up and 10 min later hes over heating again like crazy... i look at my headers beat red! do you guys have any clues to what it is .. maybe the water pump or the rad?

Sounds like coolant seal, the oring between the layers of the block. These motors don't take well to overheating so beware. There is a repair that doesn't require teardown and may work for you it did for my 88 na, see rotary resurrection .com , tech-coolant seal fix. Good luck

my did almost the same thing but i could drive it for a half hour before the temp would start to climb into unsafe levels. I just took my motor apart and found that the water jacket had broken off. That was the cause of my problems.
