Question Help

How do u get the shift **** off an 87?? it doesnt just turn off...so what do i do?? N e 1 know?? I know its dumb =). Thanks guys.

There's a jam nut underneath.
You need to loosen that before taking the shift **** out.

turn to the left to loosen, if someone over tightened it, it could be cross threaded

ok thx guys, so its under?? is it that cirlce with the 2 flat edges??
