Exclamation Help!!!

Ok heres the problem... my car wont idol! I have a fuel cut switch so my engine shouldnt flood, however i can get my car to turn over but it dies right away. If i do get it to run everytime it hits 2000 rpms it backfires really really badly shooting flames out the end of my car.
Can anyone help me? Oh and i put new spark plugs in my car and it still didnt fix my problem.

okay done being an ***...

well the plugs definiately arent the problem. I would start buy checking your fuel cut swtich setup. The switch might be wire wrong or you arent doing the start correctly with the switch. Also, there might be one of the following as well

1) exhaust leak which will cause massive backfires
2) MAF sensor is f***ed
3) other general maintenance that needs done. If you still have an O2 sensor, hat could be bad too.

I dont think its the fuel cut swith since it was working for a while before i started having problems. Where would the exhaust leak be located at? But would it matter what condition the MAF is in if im not putting the car in motion and there is no air coming into the engine? Then again if the MAF thinks theirs air putting more fuel into the enigine flooding the engine causing it to die, making it backfire?

air getting in the exhaust is caused by rust holes or bad welds. That can be fix easily anad cheaply with stuff from autozone or similiar. The MAF can really really mess with the fuel injection because that is what tells the ECU to control your fuel ratio. If it is saying that there is alot of air coming in and in reality their isnt, yeah it can flood out and die. also did you install any aftermarket air intakes? because the AFM part of the intake will work differently if rotated.

Its a new exhaust and the only spot that could even look like there might be a hole is in the muffler. I do have a Turbo Intercooled duct made by Banzai Racing and a cone filter connected to the MAF, but everything was installed by Banzai Racing so i dont think its that.

Go back to basics. Check for vacuum leaks, BAC internal seal air leak, tps setting. Make certain all working/set properly. It's a start.
