Rotary Resurrection is in Morristown, TN , north of Knoxville. That will probably be the cheapest and closest engine builder to you.

let me offer you something to think about.

Most rotary mechanics are 85 bucks an hour and the minimum I've found for a rebuild is 20 hours. This is only for labor. This does not include the cost of parts on top of that labor. For the amount of money you'll spend for a reworked rotary you can just go out an almost buy another working t2.

So, I would suggest that you just get a whole new t2 engine shipped to you from Kevin, and then have a local shop just simply swap the engines out for you.

This way you'll get a brand new remaned engine, instead of a halfway remaned motor that you spent 85 dollars minimum per hour to have reassembled for you.

I mean think about it. That's what? 85*20 just for labor.
that's $1700 already that does not even include the new parts for that engine. In fact you can get a barebones remaned N/A from Kevin for that.

Say your mechanic calls up and says that the rotor housing is toast. A new one of those usually runs about 450 dollars. What about other things like side housings if that kicked the bucket too.

Not to mention that a kinda of decent apex rebuild kit is at least $600. $800 if done right. Since you say you lost an apex seal, more than likely your housing for that seal is gone. If you got just the apex seals, they're 25 bucks a pop and you need what? 6 of them. A new gaskette set is 189 bucks or so. Now you're talking 2700 dollars all the sudden....that's if things are going well. Add a couple more hundred bucks for tax and knick nacks, and well **** you might just go out and find a new t2 instead.

Or talk to kevin, at rotary ressurection. Maybe get a better upgraded performance engine that's guranteed to run, and have the brilliant guys at the rotary shop take 5 hours or so to put it for you. (5hours being an extremely liberal estimate)

just something to think about.
