k everyone i need your help. i knoe this is a prelude site but i am always on the boards. k heres the story i am only in high skewl so money is sparce n i am looking into buying a car. a neighbour of mine is willing to sell his 1986 mazda rx-7. it has a fair amount of rust mainly on the bottom of the doors and fenders. the interiors is in excellent shape. the problem is the engine. it has 254,000 clicks. the car has sat on the driveway for six years so it doesnt run. however it is probably just the battery. however after so much milege i dont knoe how long the engine will last me. rust has really hurt the entire bottom of the car so i knoe allot of my engine parts will need to be replaced wether or not the engine fails soon. for sure exuast system.
so i knoe it doesnt sound all that great however heres the interesting part my friend used to race a rx-7 so i can get a bunch of parts all used but cheap price. so to get rid of the rust i am gonna put his kit on and find new doors. the kit is a wide body which include front and rear fenders and front bumper. i can also get engine parts a cheap price. yet i am afraid i will need to put alot of money in it to pass emissions and all

basically i want to knoe if you guys think i should get the car. the price he is offering me is (dont laugh) $300.
