Hello to all, a lil intro and a quick ?

Hey, guys my name is Josh I am currently looking into purchasing a 2nd Gen [preferably a TII] RX-7,

A lil history, I fell in love with this car was when I was about 16 and a senior in High School drove in his 91? Turbo II, and I though it was the nicest car I have ever laid eyes on, Well I began to work my butt off that summer and the following one and 2 weeks before turning 18 I drove past this Red 91 GXL, I wanted a turbo but I really just wanted an RX-7. Bought it for $500.00, the guy said it overheated, my mother found a guy that brainwashed her and told her that he was an expert RX-7 mechanic. So I took it in and he stated that I needed to re build the rotors and all interior engine components (a few Thousand $$$). I did not questestion him and 4 weeks later the car overheated on me. Mom got rid of it and I got a Chevy Blazer .

Anyway's I am now looking to make the purchase for a Turbo II since I can make my own decisions anyways If there is anything that I should know about the 2nd Gen Turbo RX-7, common problems, just so that I dont buy a lemon. Since I dont know I cannot seach, hope you guys can help.
