OK I,m having trouble starting my 87 rx-7. It starts fine in the morning but after it warms up it doesn't want to start anymore. I pushed it to the corner wrench guy and he helped me by taking a long needlenose and pinching off a fuel line and it started just fine. It seems flooded out. Someone told me it was the fuel pressure regulator, is that true or could it be true? If not what then? Need help, not alot of money. What can I do? By the way its not a turbo model.

Why not install a fuel cut off switch? Use the search button and look for it. It'll help a lot.

Dittos to the above. Either that or rebuild the engine with new rotor housings (after you do a compression check first). Installing the switch takes about an hour if you have to think things over and the switch is about the cost of two gallons of gas.

See http://www.mazdatrix.com/ for approx prices.

Something else in case you have some other problem in the future. The title of your thread did not help you get help. It didn't define the problem. I know of several people who won't even glance at a title with the word HELP in it and especially ANY post that has WTF in it anywhere at all, whether title or body.

It's just a suggestion, nothing personal. Your not the first and won't be the last.
