Heavy duty electric fan relay kit/taurus fan plug

I got this nice 70amp relay kit from this place for my electric fan install, it came with the socket and some nice heavy duty terminals. You have to call them to place your order.

Just figured I would throw this out there for those who may not have good salvage yards to browse or who would rather just have something new that they know the rating of.

I also got the other end of a Taurus fan plug, this has really nice heavy gauge wiring and is a serious piece of hardware, new from someone on ebay for $11 with shipping.

I have a brand new Taurus fan that Im putting in the car, im hoping the new set up runs less then my current set up. My fan has also started to vibrate a little bit so im nervous it might be on its way out.

Well, with all the good info on these fans and how to wire them lately, I don't think anyone has an excuse for a poorly cooled car this summer.

What thermoswitches are you using and where are you putting them?

im using my Wolf V500 to handle it, it handles it now. Sensors are in the waterpump housing, I have since switched to a 2 wire sensor for the wolf.
