heator core and other boxes behind the dash

Hey,

I am removing ac from my car and while at it decided to move all misc stuff that deals with it. There a re three boxes behind the dash. Heater core, a middle black one then one above the ecu.

All i want is to be able to blow heat onto my windshield so what do i need to keep? I am assuming that the box all the way to the right is just a filter so i guess i could put a screen over the tubes and remove that. What does the black one do? and will the heator core suck are to then reblow out by itself? Or do one of those boxes act as a pump?

you'll need to keep the box on the right, its your fan

the box in the middle is A/C evap. - cars without A/C from the factory just had a duct there instead ( you'll ned to put the duct in place of the evap. or fab something up to flow the air between the fan and heater core)

the box on the left is the heater core, needless to say - keep that

Are you doing all this with your dash still in place? I'm just wondering if I can do it that way or not.
