Heating System parts missing
Heating System parts missing
Hey ive been working on this car in my spare time for almost a year now and made a lot of progress with the help of you guys and the fsm but for the life of me i cant figure out what parts im missing to complete the heating/cooling system, i need the hose that connects to the lower part of the rad and where does the heater hose on the pass side ccooper fitting on the firewall connect too? Boston is way too cold to run without heat please help im running out of options😭😭
The passenger side heater hose connects to the bung on the lower rad fitting.
There are two flex hoses, one at either end of a formed metal tube but you could get away with a one piece flex hose the entire way if you wanted.

i already both a silicone heater hose kit so i have the hose for the bung and pass side heater, is there some where i can get the formed metal tube? No parts cars around unfortunately
Maybe Mazda...not sure but it's a free call.
Given some rudimentary tube bending skills/equipment you could cobble up a reasonable facsimile or just get a 6' (or so) chunk of heater hose (5/8", I think) and a p-clip or two and do it the easy way.

You could use copper pipe in a pinch but still would need to connect that pipe to the rad and heater bungs using rubber hose.
Clokker's way to get you going fast is a good one..get some heater hose and a couple clamps and you are on your way.
