heater is not working.

heater is not working.

87 tII

the heater blows hard but not hot air...

my question is why...... is it a thermostat issue?, air pocket in radiotor line?

the engine temp stays perfect...doesnt overheat at all.

could be blocked heater core, could be bad air mix motor, could be a lot of things

There are a lot of possible answers there.

However, I found most of those answers weren't applicable to the problem I was experiencing, which involved the same symptoms as your problem. I believe that the answer we're looking for lies in the vents down behind the dashboard, in front of the passenger. I think that one of these that changes between cold air from outside and warm air from the car. I should be addressing that problem within the next two weeks. I'll let you know what I find out.
