Question Heater Hose

Anyone know where I can get a heater hose? I have a leak coming from there and I was just wondering where I can get one and how much it will be.
Also, has anyone installed one of these?? I don't want to pay the $50 they wanted me to pay for installation at the shop I went to.

If you're talking about the hose that comes from the firewall with several bends in it that goes under the oil filter pedestal, you won't find that just anywhere. I've heard NAPA carries it, and of course your local mazda dealer. I have an extra brand new one if you get in a bind.

I've replaced all my hoses. Exactly which one(s) are you referring to?

Neither are we. You need to tell us this, not the other way around. You haven't even said why you're doing this. Is one of them leaking? In that case that's the one I'd suggest you replace. The best place to get it would be Mazda, since you know you'll get one that's an exact fit.

Hoses

Mazdatrix sells the OEM hoses at lower prices than the dealer.

Thanx

WHICH ONE???

If it's one with a simple bend in it, ask the auto parts store for a catalog of their heater hose shapes - I'm sure you can find one that'll work.

If you're talking about the heater hoses that go into the firewall, YOU'RE FUCKED.
I've never seen a generic one, and you're basically stuck with going to Mazda for the super expensive hose.

Wellll! I went to Advanced Auto and picked some different hose sizes and got two hoses, one that resembled the first half of that hose, and one that resembled the last, then bought a 'coolant flush kit' whitch had a tee with one side blocked off, and came with some hose clamps.

Using this method, I made my own coolant hose.
