Heater Core Step by Step
Hi Guys, I have included a link to a slide show showing my latest adventure replacing the heating core that leaked in combination to a bad radiator.
Enjoy!

Give me some feedback, I am curious about what you think, should I have ditched the car?

The Logicon
The logicon is the climat control interface on your dashboard. It has a tendency to go bad a lot on RX7s. Mark from mazdamark.com showed me what to do to fix them. I ordered one from him anyway so I can take my time fixing my old at my leasure.
Typically you would know that something is wrong with the logicon is when your air selection is not working. That could also be coupled with a problem with the little motor that controls the air flap inside the air flow box. One way to check that motor is to supply power to it, if it moves, then it is OK.
Let me tell you, reaching the heater core is labor intensive. Take your time and LABEL every screw, bolt and electric wire you play with. Have fun!
