I was flushing my heater core yesterday and I noticed something that didnt seem good. If I hooked the hose to the end that is supposed to be the exit water would flow through the core fine and clean it out a bit. Now when I went from the end that the water it supposed to flow though as the in, it wouldnt flow at all. Now does this mean that there is something wrong with the way it is put in or is there a valve in backwards? Someone shed some light on this.
you sure you have the in and out right? i would think it should be like a radiator, just metal tubing. might be that clogged up too. whatever is in there jams up going one way. perhaps it takes a certain temperature before it allows flow through? i'm spouting out random thoughts here if you couldn't tell. did it work before you took it out? i'm just curious why you didn't just get the pour in treatment.
