Smile Heater

was blowing warm for a couple days after I purchased. Now it is all cold, all the time. How do I go about checking what is wrong? What is it most likely? What would I do to fix that?

My car is an 87 Rx-7 GXL. I also have my old 86 Rx-7 that I am parting out for this car.

A couple more things I have noticed, this car seems to be guzzling gas faster and more consecutively then my other one, or so it seems. Any ideas? Also, the steering is a lot touchier, and sometimes I even feel like I am being knocked off my straight path sometimes (i.e. merge very slightly right without moving the wheel) but I am also going to be swapping tires on my FC's.

Slide the heater control to right. You should hear a motor turning. If not, you may have a bad air mix motor or logicon.

If that's the case, you may want to see if you can repair it. Mazdatrix sells them (though they are not cheap). http://www.mazdatrix.com/86-92Electrical-Chassis.htm

Could be something else/simpler, but I don't know. A few people have had this problem on the Forum before. Apparently redoing some of the solder joints has worked; I haven't had this problem (yet). Try searching for "heater problems" or something.

I am actually a little confused.

People say search for "X" but I dont know where to search for it, I do not see any type of search bar.

I figured out how to search. I feel dumb.

I will have to see if it is my logicon. I am simply looking to hear a motor turn on as I switch from coldd to warm and vice versa?

Ccheck your tire pressure and wheel bearings for the steering issue.
