Heat Blowing on Floorboard, Wont stop????

Well I dont think I have seen this one yet, my heat constantly blows on the floor, well maybe its not actually blowing from the heater motor but you can definetly feel it.

The heater control is in the off position, it does work, the water temp gauge reads fine, just below half when fully heated up.

its an s5, non-turbo

doesnt matter if the logicon is on floor, vents, defrost, whatever, it still does it

no trouble lights

I just had the exhaust dont, full straight pipe to aftermarket mufflers, I ditched the heatshield when doing the tranny sway.

I dont think all this heat can be from the lack of heatshield, at least it was never like that on my 6 previous 1st gens, or the one I own now, all running with no heatshield.

any ideas?

maybe the cold air will be more powerfull then the hot
