headlights are fubar'd

why wont my headlights popup? i blew my main ignition fuse last month so i took out the retractor fuse to put it inplace of the ign. fuse til i could get a replacement. now that i got new fuses, the headlights wont popup. i have to turn the brights on to be able to drive at night. anyone have any ideas? like is there a headlight relay that i can replace.

mine wouldnt pop up when a wire got caught in the motor...that was a fucked up night..blew my rear light fuse (same one as Instrument panel lights).

are the lights just dead? or do they make sound and not come up?

Will they come up manually?

yes they will go up manually. UNderneath the car reach up and pull off the rubber boot. The simply turn it by hand.

THere are little ***** (white) under the lights that you can get to if you reach under the front bumper. You can use there to put your headlights in the up position. This is obisly a temp fix as they will stay up. try ohming out the headlight motors, make sure that they aren't blown!
