Headlights don't work, parking and dash lights do - fuse?
Last night I was driving home and my headlights both stopped working simultaneously. The parking and dash lights still worked, though. Is it a fuse or relay that could've caused this? I was thinking it could possibly be the turn signal switch, because no matter how many times I switched it the high beam light on the dash stayed on, and it has other quirks such as the turn signals not switching off and the fog lamps staying on when I switch to high beams. I gotta fix this ASAP though; I do most of my driving at night!

your bump has been deleted. Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd Gen RX-7
As far as the fuse box covers, they can be found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this, the 2nd gen technical section.
From your description you have a bad headlight switch, or a bad headlight relay.
The Red/White coming from [CR1] in the above picture is coming from the headlight switch, and is a ground signal.
The fact that you have the high beam indicator, rules out a bad fuse, because as the diagram clearly shows, it comes from the same power as the headlights.

Had the same thing happen last night....pretty much
I have no headlights (worked fine when I shut off the car at the gas station 1/2 km from home, but I go to leave and everything comes on - they even flipped up - but just no headlights), parking/dash lights work fine as well as signals and hazards.
I also have NO highbeam indicator, nor do the headlights illuminate at all when flicking the high/low beam switch.
Question: where is the physical location of the headlamp relay on an 86 N/A?
I am leaning away from a switch in my case since it as recently installed and I tired a spare last night to no avail.
Edit: I also checked the fuses, none appear bad, and I removed ad re-installed all fuses both in car and under hood in case a loose one was the culprit.
