IN headlights after tubo swap

well im sure some one has covered it but i couldnt find it so here goes. I am just finishing up my TII swap into my car, i spliced the temp gauge to work and cut the un nesasary wires for the non existant boost gauge. but i tryed my headlights today and at first they wouldnt move at all and then after a little help i got the drivers side to free up and move but not all the way. and the pass. side will move just a smige and then it gets stuck and wont go up or down. i have to use the maunal **** to move em.
My big question is could this have anything to do with the fact that i used the turbo EM harness or is it unrelated and i just need a headlight motor?? the retractor fuse is good and the lights all work but the pass side motor get very hot when it stops moving.

unrelated but does anyone know what if anything im going to have to change harness wise for the PS to work?

the wipers are in the NA engine harness, the headlights are in the body harness and have nothing to do with the engine's wiring or ECU.

It sounds like the mechanical linkage is binding in the headlight assy's, and putting heavy load on the retractor motors. So they get hot.

Look for binding around the linkage and interference b/t the headlight moving parts and the body panels near it.
