a headlight housing shapped like the sealed beams we have stock thjat aceptrs a standard H4 bulb. The housings are generaly more crystal clear, some look nice and some look cheap. also you'll have a wider selection of bulbs although the best bulbs i've seen so far are silvania silver stars and they are availible in out headlights. i haven't seen a set of h4 conversions with silverstar H4 bulbs yet i imagine it would be very nice

so it still looks the same? because i saw a 7 that he said had it done, and the headlights were half open. does that have anything to do with the conversion?

Headlights being half down has nothing to do with the conversion. Yes it will look the same. Only difference now is that the h4 housings can have bulbs switched in/out without having to replace the whole sealed beam like stock.

EDIT: Only thing is I dont understand why anybody would spend money to upgrade their headlights only to not use them correctly/full potential by having them half way up. It's called sleepy eye if you wanna find out how to do it.

h4 provides better lighting at night. just buy some h4 headlamps and bulbs, they should hook up and look stock or even better. btw, it provides a white beam though not totally white.
