Headlight switch relays

Anyone know the part numbers and where they got their relays to rebuild the headlight switch ?

Tired of buying 20+ yr old switches only to fail after a short time.

Isn't there but one relay in the switch itself and that one is just for UP/DOWN retract operations, not headlight related at all?????

I highly recommend doing Icemark's relay install. For that you'll need a relay [30Amp] with the terminals 85, 87, 87a, 86, 30. The industry name [acronym] of the relay has changed since he wrote it though, so keep that in mind. [I bought mine at Fry's Electronics, but Radioshack, audio shops, etc should have it]

If you do Icemark's mod, the switch should last a VERY long time [as it will ONLY carry the dashboard lights' load afterwards]. Also, clean those turn signal sockets regardless. ^_-
