Are the headlight switch interchangeable between the S4 and S5? I'm looking for a replacement but the ones I found are from mostly 86-87...Mine's a S5 TII and having a little trouble finding one from the same year ish..

Use to simply fix my problem by jiggling the switch a bit. Now my tailights will turn on for like 30 seconds and then it cuts out along with my interior light as well. Only time it'll stay on is when I just turn it to to the first spot (Acc. lights). pretty much.

 

Physically, the switches are identical, the connectors are the same.
The pin outs are different though, you'll have to rearrange some wires.

y are u replacing the the original switch did the green and white line get all burnt?
u might need a new headlight harness.....i have some let me know
