Headlight problem
Headlight problem
Well tonight I turned my headlights on and the drivers side one would only go part of the way up. It was like it was stuck. I took a closer look at them than I ever really has and it seems like part of the motion is to flip up, and there is another that pushes the bottom of the actual bulb forwards as they go up. The motor is working, Just something is getting stuck somehow. Anyone ever have this problem? Might be a good reason to get the RE Amemiya kit
Check the plastic surrounds aren't hitting the bodywork; that happened to me. Also, pull the "retractor" fuse in the engine bay until you get them working properly. Any time they're not completely up or down, the motor has power. Leaving it stuck half way will burn the motor out.

The motors are grounded to themselves. They're a bitch to pull, but it may just be that the grounds need cleaning (went thru something similar a year ago...)
Well it is definitely getting caught up somehow. Maybe if I just take the plastic surrounds off it will fix, but I dunno. Hopefully. The RE Amemiya one doesn't have motors. I will be doing it to save weight, right? Lol.
