Headlight Design opinions???

what do you all think of this headlight concept design? It's a Concept retrofit conversion from an 1995 Acura TL. all done in Photoshop with a few pics off the net and the progress of my rebuild.

interesting...a sleepy eyes look that doesn't make me immediately retch. If you ever do the whole custom setup, take some pictures from different angles.

I was using the ides from a while ago that somone was trying to make a projector HID setup for our 2nd gen RX7s, but with no avail. I was thinking of just using a different basket in the headlights to cater to the newer headlight and a shorter arm on the motor so the headlights wouldn't come up as far. I'm really not sure about it... i've had it set as my desktop for a few days and the more i look at it the more it looks like Nissan or the BMW with the pop ups...

nm no more of this,

I think you should keep working on it. It seems like a design that alot of people would llike to know how to do and if anything else you could always sell the set that you do make, just to get some money back.

he he, nice quote. Just an update: I am still working on the design concepts but to get the headlights as sleek as possible but still have flip ups and possibley still use the FTP lenses I'm leaning toward using just the projectors from the 350Z, smallest ones I've ever seen. (see pic) a custom made fiberglass housing and a small reflector for the halogen High beams. there would need to be a second light like a set of fog lights behind the ftp lenses.

like I said it's still in the design stages. i need to measure just how wide the headlight door/flip up light is. just the metal part with the paint on it. if somebody could do that becuase I'm away from my car for the next week and I want to keep sketching different ideas, that would be very healpful.

take care for now,
TR
