that was just a photoshop by teh way.. Would be interesting tho to see it.

before people start judging me for my taste, these are just examples
heres and FD which it dont look good

MR2

Actually looks alright, your first initial thought isnt that those are celica headlights. I think its because he used aftermarket headlights and not the OEM stuff. If the car was black or silver, it would probably look pretty exotic.

Probably look better on a FC because they will be at a lower position on the front bumper.

That's what it boils down to, I think the lines match great on the MR2
that's why it works for it, on our FC's and FD's though I don't think it
works very well though.

So did you finalize the idea? if you do it, please post some pics of the progress i like looking at threads.

Dont let the people on this forum discourage you from posting pics, i know theres alot of badass rx7 mods out there that dont make it on this forum because people just arent mature or very motivating to share here.

I always prefered the simple headlight look. I would love to graft the headlight buckets from an fb/sa22 and create a round headlighted fc. Just my 2 cents though.

Cheers!!!

Yeah, Shadow7 is a stand up guy. The car was pretty clean too as I recall.

As far as the RE kit is concerned, I believe hella or piaa makes the lights for them. The turn signal is another story. The foglights you can now source from Corksport. I know a place that can import the actual lights that RE Amemiya used, but I was told that they aren't that great as far as lighting is concerned. I haven't seen the beam pattern in person as of yet though.

The headlights that come with the FC2000 bumper are worthless. Invest in some quality driving lights to replace 'em, because H6054 Sylvania Silverstars perform WAY better than those.
